How to use your GoPro as a webcam tutorials
Due to many requests I have posted a tutorial describing how to use GoPro Hero cameras as webcams under macOS and Windows. The virtual webcam can then be used in Zoom.us (Windows), Skype (Desktop), OBS Studio, and many other application as a video source. You can find the tutorial including demo videos here.

What do I need to change to make it work with Xiaomi Yi 4k?
At the moment only GoPro cameras are supported.
I followed your tutorial – Thank you! – and got this to work for VIDEO.
Is this supposed to also work for audio, i.e. use the gopro as a microphone? I set the audio source as ffmpeg in Webcamoid, but my zoom connections don’t hear any audio when I connect with them.

Is your GoPro camera in Video mode (in Photo mode no audio is transmitted)?
Yes it is in video mode.
Just to clarify – are you saying it should work with audio if I followed your instructions exactly?

Hi,
when I execute the ffmpeg file it stops short (see below). This in turn means the webcamoid can not find the virtual camera. Do you have any suggestions?

Doe the gopro hero 8 work with usb?
It does not work via USB. Generally, for the Hero 8 this tool is much better which uses WiFi client mode: http://www.gopro2webcam.com
