Action Camera Toolbox scripting

The Action Camera Toolbox supports camera control using a Javascript like scripting language. This powerful feature allows you to program your own camera functionality, such as exposure bracketing (for HDR fusion), time-lapse, special capturing intervals and events, etc.

Scripts can be executed by three different means:

  1. Using the script editor in the Action Camera Toolbox app.
  2. By sending the script via HTTP to the HTTP command server.
  3. From the command line (only available on deskop versions of the app).

Note: The scripting functionality differs between camera models and even between firmware versions of the same camera model. Possible camera settings can be dynamically queried for each camera during script runtime.
