Camera Suite updated with GoPro Hero 5 support
An update for the Camera Suite for GoPro Hero cameras app is available which adds support for GoPro Hero 5 cameras. Also the Raspberry Pi support has been greatly improved.

Introduction to the new Wifi switching feature for controlling multiple (GoPro) cameras
The Action Camera Toolbox 1.0.1 update allows you to control multiple cameras using automatic Wifi network switching. The problem with many action cameras is that each camera creates its own Wifi network and runs as an access point. The dynamic Wifi switching feature addresses the problem by switching between Wifi networks. The feature is available on Windows 7 and newer, macOS (not with the App Store version!), Linux, and Android.

Introduction to the new Action Camera Toolbox remote camera feature
The recent Action Camera Toolbox 1.0.1 update introduces two new camera types called “ACT Camera” and “ACT Remote Camera”. The ACT Camera is a wrapper camera which runs on the remote device and maps a camera (for instance the device camera or another action camera). In the sample video below the ACT Camera runs on the two smartphones.
The ACT Remote Camera runs on the local device (Windows 10 in the video below) and shows all settings and, if supported by the mapped camera, a live preview snapshot. Together with the multi camera control feature multiple cameras can be controlled at once.
